2026 APPS ARE OPEN
UNTIL DECEMBER 30TH

WEEK 1:

JUNE 6-13, 2026
URBAN KIZ, ARGENTINE TANGO, & BRAZILIAN ZOUK

  • Last year, 100% of our ticket tiers were subsidized by generous community donors. In order to make this event financially sustainable enough to continue long-term, as well as to cover rising inflation, this year we are re-orienting our tiers.

    We want to:

    • Be transparent about the operational costs of running this event

    • Give attendees the opportunity to cover that cost if they are able

    • Still offer meaningful subsidization to anyone who needs it, via our community donations

    • Still offer additional scholarship support to those who need it, via our fundraising efforts

    Our Costs Per Attendee:

    Lodging + Meals Cost: $460
    Includes:

    • 3 organic, homemade meals per day

    • All day coffee & tea supply

    • 7 nights in a bunk in a cabin, or a camping spot on-site

    Tuition: $840
    Includes:

    • 30 hrs of educational material

    • 10+ hrs of DJed social dancing

  • $1300 - Covers all your costs of attendance

    • Suggested for people with access to savings, investments, and/or inheritance, or who identify as middle or upper class. Holler to our techies, lawyers, doctors, folks that work in $$$, etc.

    • For those who desire to contribute additional, tax-deductible scholarship funding by paying more than $1300, please see the end of this section.

$950 - Covers lodging and meals, and ~60% of your tuition costs

    • Suggested for people with secure jobs, the ability to save up for an event, and those who generally can pay full price for a fusion weekender.

    • Consider this tier if you have employer benefits, can take time off with pay, and generally don't worry about covering your basic living expenses but do not identify with the tier above.

$750 - Covers lodging and meals, and ~35% of your tuition costs

    • Suggested for people with potential income variability but not experiencing housing or food insecurity.

    • Consider this tier if you can stretch to support the event but would find the higher tiers a significant financial strain.

$550 - Covers lodging and meals, and ~10% of your tuition costs

    • Suggested for low-income & working class folks, people without access to comfortable savings, investments, or inheritance, or people from historically disenfranchised communities.

    • Some additional scholarship funding is available—for additional information, see the scholarship section below.

Thank you to our community donors for investing in our ability to create accessible pricing tiers!

  • We are hard at work raising additional money for our scholarship fund, and the amount we are able to raise will impact how much additional scholarship support is available. In previous years, we have been able to offer an amount of scholarship funding to all who have requested it!

If additional scholarship funding would help you access MFI, you will have the chance to request it in your application. You will be informed of how much we can offer you upon acceptance.

Also of note, we are working with our venue to create a kitchen worktrade opportunity, and payment plans of multiple installments are available for all ticket tiers.
